About Frischer Electronic SA

HISTORY

The 1960s

Frischer Electronic SA owes its beginnings to the entrepreneurial spirit of Frederic Frischer, a Cambridge-educated engineer and businessman who recognized the potential of the emerging color television market in Europe in the 1960s. However, he also realized that a critical component - a competitive quartz crystal - was missing from the picture. In response, he founded the company in 1967 and began supplying quartz crystal units to the color television industry in Europe.

The 1970s

After Frederic's retirement in the late 1970s, his son Robert Frischer took the reins of the company and set his sights on a new market: the burgeoning Automotive industry. Frischer Electronic SA received its first Automotive order in 1979.

Until today

Over the last four decades, the company has established itself as a global leader in the supply of high-quality quartz crystal products to the industry's largest manufacturers.

Frischer Electronic SA owes much of its success in the Automotive industry to its leading suppliers, its expertise, uncompromising reliability, and steadfast dedication to customer satisfaction. By consistently delivering top-quality quartz crystal units and exceptional service to its clients, the company has earned a reputation as a trusted and reliable partner in the industry. The team at Frischer Electronic SA remains committed to upholding these core values and continuing to exceed customer expectations with innovative solutions and unparalleled technical support.
